Abstract
Šumski ekosustavi mogu se vrednovati na različite načine. Povezujući ih s problemom klimatskih promjena iznimno su važni radi akumulacije ugljika. U radu će se dati prikaz vrednovanja šuma i šumskog zemljišta, te analiza stanja povezana s Kyoto protokolom. Na taj način ukazat će se na povezanost zaštite okoliša i zaštite prirode s mogućim utjecajem na ublažavanje klimatskih promjena.
