Abstract
U radu su prikazane karakteristike akumulatorskih motornih pila koje se trenutno mogu naći tržištu. Njihova prednost u odnosu na motorne pile s benzinskim motorom ogleda se u korištenju obnovljivih izvora energije, zanemarivom utjecaju na okoliš i operatera što se tiče štetnih ispušnih plinova te smanjenoj emisiji buke. Nedostaci akumulatorskih motornih pila i općenito akumulatorskih uređaja uglavnom se očituju u još uvijek nedovoljnom kapacitetu akumulatora i zato još uvijek nema proizvedenih akumulatorskih motornih pila za upotrebu u profesionalnoj kategoriji.
