Abstract
Invazivne strane vrste pokazuju brzu prilagodbu u novom okolišu, sposobnost brzog razmnožavanja, te veliku brojnost i gustoću. Utjecaj tih vrsta može biti iznimno negativan na biološku raznolikost jer te vrste potiskuju autohtone vrste i ograničavaju njihov rast i razvoj. U radu će se prikazati utjecaj invazivnih vrsta flore na šumska staništa i na određene procese u šumskom ekosustavu. Invazivne vrste nisu samo ekološki i problem zaštite prirode, nego i ekonomski problem na lokalnoj i državnoj razini.
