Abstract
Čagalj je vrsta koja se posljednjih godina raširila po čitavom prostoru Republike Hrvatske sa značajnim utjecajem na sitnu, a ponekad i krupnu divljač. Ovim istraživanjem na unaprijed određenim lokacijama unutar državnog otvorenog lovišta XII/11 MLADA VODICA-PUAVICE kojim gospodari Lovačko društvo Dilj iz Podcrkavlja pomoću zvučnog podraživanja procijenjena je brojnost od 13 jedinki na ukupno 10 stajališta. U razdoblju ožujka do lipnja. prebrojavanje je vršeno u redovitim vremenskim intervalima (12:00 i 20:00 – 21:00 sati) Na 5 lokacija nije zabilježeno njihovo javljanje, dok je na ostalim lokacijama zabilježena aktivnost. Rezultati upućuju da se metoda može koristiti kao pomoćna ili kontrolna metoda prebrojavanja, poglavito u uvijetima gdje nije moguće iz različitih razloga organizirati klasično prebrojavanje sitne divljači putem primjernih ploha.
