Abstract	U posljednjih nekoliko desetljeća javlja se globalni problem plastike u morskom okolišu. Plastika je materijal koji nema sposobnost brze razgradnje, a proizvođači i potrošači je najviše koriste zbog njene jednostavnosti i praktičnosti. Zbog loše izgrađenog sustava gospodarenja otpada, plastika nakon korištenja biva odbačena u okolišu.
