Abstract

Tvrdi krpelji su hematofagni ektoparaziti te prijenosnici brojnih bolesti poput lajmske borelioze i krpeljnog meningoencefalitisa. Cilj istraživanja ovog diplomskog rada je utvrđivanje strukture (vrsta, razvojni stadij i spol) i dinamike populacije jedinki tvrdih krpelja na području RŠC kao područje povoljnih uvjeta za njihov pridolazak. Tijekom šestomjesečnog uzorkovanja, pronađeno je 4 jedinki (3 nimfe i odrasla ženka) vrste Ixodes ricinus. Time je utvrđeno, kao i u ranijim istraživanjima, kako je na području RŠC Bundek utvrđena mala prisutnost tvrdih krpelja. Nastavljanjem redovitog održavanja zelenih površina, taj trend bi se trebao nastaviti.

Abstract (english)

Hard ticks are hematophagous external parasites of humans and carriers of many diseases, most notably Lyme disease and tick-borne encephalitis. Aim of this research is determination of tick structure (species, developmental stage, sex) and dinamics of opulation of species individual at the recreational sports centre Bundek. During the six months of sampling 4 ticks of Ixodes ricinus species were found (3 nymphs and 1 female adult). This research has confirmed, along with the previous ones, that there has been a small amount of ticks found at the RSC Bundek. Thanks to the regular maintenance of green areas this trend should be continued in the following years.
