Abstract
Dosadašnji model gospodarenja komunalnim otpadom potrebno je mijenjati u skladu sa zahtjevima europske direktive o otpadu, te nacionalnih zakonskih i podzakonskih akata. U radu će se analizirati stanje u Makarskoj i mogućnosti primjene novih tehnologija za postizanje kružnog gospodarstva. Ključno za uspjeh procesa u cijelosti je ekonomično i ekološko gospodarenje otpadom na lokalnoj, županijskoj i državnoj razini.
Abstract (english)
The current waste management model needs to be changed in accordance with the requirements of the European Waste Directive and national legal and sublegal acts. The paper will analyze the situation in Makarska and explore the possibilities of implementing new technologies to achieve a circular economy. Key to the success of the entire process is economically and ecologically sound waste management at the local, county, and state levels
