Abstract

U ovom radu ispitano je kako broj slojeva laka utječe na otpornost drvenih površina, posebno bukve i hrasta, kada su izložene mehaničkim i kemijskim utjecajima. Ispitivanja su provedena na uzorcima obrađenih vodenim i otapalnim lakovima s različitim brojem završnih slojeva. Glavne metode uključivale su ispitivanje otpornosti prema hladnim tekućinama, udarcima, ogrebotinama te mjerenje tvrdoće i suhe debljine filma. Posebna pozornost posvećena je usporedbi različitih vrsta premaza, pri čemu su vodeni lakovi pokazali bolju otpornost površine na tekućine i ogrebotine, dok su otapalni lakovi imali veću otpornost na udarce. Zaključeno je da veći broj slojeva laka značajno poboljšava otpornost drvenih površina, dok vrsta laka može utjecati na različite aspekte zaštite.

Abstract (english)

In this thesis it was investigated how the number of varnish layers affects on wood surface resistance, especially beech and oak, when surface is exposed to mechanical and chemical influences. The research was made on samples processed in water - based and solvent varnishes with different number of finishing layers. The main methods included research of resistance on cold liquids, hits, scratches and measurements of hardness and dry film thickness. Special attention is given to the comparison of different types of coatings, where water- based varnishes showed better surface resistance to liquids and scratches, and solvent varnishes had better resistance on hits. It is concluded that higher number of varnish layers significantly improves the resistance of wooden surfaces, while the type of varnish can affect on different aspects of protection.
