Abstract
Kočje su smještene na sjevernoj strani istočnog dijela otoka Korčule, pored sela Žrnovo. Pod kategorijom posebnog rezervata šumske vegetacije, zaštićene su od 1962. godine, te se nalaze pod ingerencijom Javne ustanove za upravljanje zaštićenim prirodnim vrijednostima na području Dubrovačko-neretvanske županije. Kočje su prirodni šumski i geomorfološki fenomen. Istraživanje je provedeno tijekom ožujka i svibnja 2015. godine, te je uključivalo strukturna, vegetacijska i mikroklimatska mjerenja.
