Abstract	U ovome radu cilj je bio obuhvatiti pozitivne i negativne značajke invazivne vrste i opasnog korova, amorfe (Amorpha fruticosa L.), koji se, nakon što je u 18. stoljeću unesen iz Sjeverne Amerike, vrlo dobro prilagodio i raširio prvenstveno u nizinskim šumama duž vodotoka te postao velikim problemom pri obnovi šuma najvrjednijih vrsta drveća u Republici Hrvatskoj. Ipak, pokazao se kao izvrsna biljka za proizvodnju meda i peluda te u izradi vijenaca i košara kao i za dekorativne svrhe, zbog čega je, prije svega, i unesen.
