Abstract

U ovom diplomskom radu, analizirana je uloga ekoturizma na području Nacionalnog parka Plitvička jezera, točnije u Općini Rakovica. Ukratko je opisan povijesni razvoj turizma, definirani su njegovi oblici, a posebno je objašnjen u novije vrijeme izuzetno važan oblik turizma, ekoturizam, koji na prvo mjesto stavlja očuvanje prirode i okoliša. Kao glavni pokretač turizma na području Općine Rakovice čije su posebnosti opisane, Nacionalni park Plitvička jezera ima veliku ulogu. Razvojem ponude – usluga, atrakcija i aktivnosti, kompletno područje oko Nacionalnog parka, pretvorilo se u jednu od privlačnijih turističkih destinacija u Hrvatskoj, pod nazivom “Plitvičke doline“. Anketnim upitnikom utvrđena je ponuda i potražnja turističkog tržišta na području turističkih resursa te je dobiven uvid u zadovoljstvo turista posjećivanjem ove destinacije. Rezultati anketnog upitnika su prikazani tablično i grafički, a mogu poslužiti kao dobar putokaz za daljnji razvoj ekoturizma na cijelom području.

Abstract (english)

In this master thesis, the role of ecotourism of the national park Plitvice lakes area has been analyzed, in Rakovica municipality, to be more precise. The historical development of tourism has been briefly described, its forms have been defined, an important form of tourism has been especially described - ecotourism, which puts preservation of the nature and environment in the first place. Main engine of tourism in the area of the municipality Rakovica, whose specialties have been described, is national park Plitvice lakes. With the development in supply - services, attractions and activities, the whole area of the national park has evolved into one of the most popular tourist destinations in Croatia, under the name of "Plitvice valleys". With this questionnaire, the offer and search of the tourist market in the area of tourist resources, has been confirmed, as well as insight of the satisfaction of tourists who visit this destination. Results of the questionnaire are tabularly and graphically displayed and can also be a good indication for the future development of ecotourism in the whole area.
