Abstract

Šumski požari jedan su od najvećih destabilizatora šumskih ekosustava. Iz tog razloga provode se razne mjere kako bi se spriječio nastanak i širenje požara. Otok Rab zbog svoje mediteranske klime i vegetacije često biva u klasi vrlo velike opasnosti od požara, osobito tijekom ljetnih mjeseci. Forest fires are one of the biggest destabilizers of forest ecosystems. For this reason, various measures are implemented to prevent the occurrence and spread of fires. Due to its Mediterranean climate and vegetation, the island of Rab is often in the category of very high fire risk, especially during the summer months.
