Abstract

Šume prekrivaju približno četvrtinu zemljine površine, i kao jedan od najvećih izvora kisika u prirodi važne su za opstanak života na Zemlji. Tijekom posljednjih godina zabilježen je porast broja šumskih požara i spaljene površine na širem području Sredozemlja, pa tako i u našoj zemlji. Šumski požari rjeđe nastaju prirodnim uzrocima, već najčešće djelatnošću čovjeka. Šumski požari mogu se svrstati u najjače sile koje u svojem pohodu uništavaju prirodne resurse, materijalna dobra te ljudske živote.
U problematici zaštite šuma od požara otvorenog prostora ključan čimbenik je analiza prošlih požarnih sezona radi poboljšanja sustava i ispravljanja nedostataka. Analiza i interpretacija požarnih sezona 2020. i 2021.godine prikazuje specifičnosti s obzirom na klimatske prilike i njihov utjecaj na nastanak i širenje požara, prikazuje podatke i statističke analize o broju požara i opožarenih površina u priobalnom dijelu, kao i na razini Republike Hrvatske, te ostale važne parametre koje nalaže Program aktivnosti u provedbi posebnih mjera zaštite od požara. Poboljšanje je evidentno kroz smanjene opožarene površine, a kao rezultat pravovremenih reakcija vatrogasnih i drugih snaga. Integracija i odgovornost u provođenju mjera zaštite od požara je od iznimne važnosti svih subjekata. Kako bi se sustav razvijao potrebno se usredotočiti na implementaciju prijedloga za poboljšanjem u borbi protiv požara kroz zadaće i aktivnosti propisane Programima zaštite od požara.

Abstract (english)

Forests cover approximately a quarter of the earth's surface, and as one of the largest sources of oxygen in nature, they are important for the survival of life on Earth. In recent years, there has been an increase of forest fires and burned areas in the wider Mediterranean area, including our country. Forest fires are less often caused by natural causes, but more often by human activity. Forest fires can be classified as the strongest forces that destroy natural resources, material goods and human lives in their march.
A key factor in the issue of forest protection against open space fires is the analysis of past fire seasons in order to improve the system and correct deficiencies. The analysis and interpretation of the fire seasons of 2020 and 2021 shows the specifics regarding the climatic conditions and their influence on the occurrence and spread of fires, shows data and statistical analyzes on the number of fires and burnt areas in the coastal area, and also on whole of the Republic of Croatia, and other important parameters required by the Activity Program in the implementation of special fire protection measures. The improvement is evident through reduced burnt areas, and as a result of timely reactions of the fire brigade and other forces. Integration and responsibility in the implementation of fire protection measures is extremely important for all entities. In order to develop the system, it is necessary to focus on the implementation of proposals for improvement in the fight against fire through the tasks and activities prescribed by the Fire Protection Programs.
