Abstract

Usprkos općeprihvaćenoj konstataciji da je šuma najzdraviji okoliš, ista je izvor brojnih biotski štetnih utjecaja na čovjeka. Boravkom, kretanjem ili provođenjem radnih zadataka u šumskom ekosustavu, gledano kroz prizmu utjecaja bioloških čimbenika, povremeni korisnici, a osobito šumski radnici, svakodnevno su izloženi određenoj razini rizika za zdravlje i sigurnost. Shodno navedenom, završni rad čini sistematičan pregled najvažnijih bioloških štetnosti koje predstavljaju rizik za ljudsko zdravlje i sigurnost pri radu. Analiza bioloških štetnosti obuhvaća opis uzročnika, simptome i moguće posljedice kod oboljenja ili ozljede te protokol postupanja i moguće mjere prevencije. U sklopu zaključaka navedene su smjernice i preporuke za razvoj kulture sigurnosti iz aspekta bioloških štetnosti kod operativnih stručnjaka i povremenih korisnika šumskih ekosustava.

Abstract (english)

Despite the generally accepted statement that the forest is the healthiest environment, it is the source of numerous biotically harmful effects on humans. By staying, moving or carrying out work tasks in the forest ecosystem, viewed through the prism of the influence of biological factors, occasional users, and especially forest workers, are exposed to a certain level of health and safety risk on a daily basis. Accordingly, the final paper makes a systematic review of the most important biological hazards that pose a risk to human health and safety at work. The analysis of biological hazards includes a description of the causative agent, symptoms and possible consequences of illness or injury, as well as a protocol of treatment and possible prevention measures. As part of the conclusions, guidelines and recommendations for the development of a safety culture from the aspect of biological hazards among operational experts and occasional users of forest ecosystems are listed.
