Abstract

Cilj ovog diplomskog rada je utvrđivanje štetnosti borovih potkornjaka na području NP Paklenica u kulturama crnog i alepskog bora . Najviše ćemo se bazirati na nekoliko glavnih vrsta potkornjaka a tu spadaju ( Hylurgus miklitzi (Wachtl 1881.), Ips sexdentatus (De Geer 1775.), Orthotomicus erosus (Wollaston 1857.) i Tomicus destruens (Wollaston 1857.) Štete koje čine borovi potkornjaci mogu biti uvjetovani biotskim i abiotskim čimbenicima međutim porast temperature, klimatske prilike i oštećenost samih stabala jako utječe na povećanje populacije potkornjaka, te je potrebno optimalno razdoblje za provođenje mjera zaštite crnog i alepskog bora.
