Abstract
Arboretum Opeka je spomenika parkovne arhitekture i zaštićeno kulturno dobro Republike Hrvatske koji zbog nedostatka financijskih sredstava polako propada. U radu se istražuje koliko su stanovnici Republike Hrvatske i Slovenije upoznati s lokacijom i ponudom Arboretuma te koje bi ih usluge i proizvodi privukli da ga posjete. Analizom se potvrdilo da bi bolja ponuda u Arboretumu i njegova promocija povećale broj posjetitelja. Istraživanjem se željelo doznati i da li je moguće urediti i upravljati Arboretumom prema načelima ekoturizma. Ispitanici su pokazali spremnost za plaćanje ulaznica ako bi se prostor uredio i ako bi se uveli novi sadržaji što govori o vrijednosti koju Arboretum ima, ali i o mogućnosti samofinanciranja. Rezultati istraživanja mogu pomoći budućim investitorima i upraviteljima Arboretuma u pronalaženju smjera kojim bi trebala ići njegova obnova, a kasnije upravljanje i razvoj.
