Abstract
Kako bi u sve zahtjevnijim uvjetima tržišta poduzeća bila uspješna, ona moraju na rastućim tržištima konstantno nuditi nove i bolje proizvode, biti na samom vrhu s obzirom na kvalitetu i tehnologiju te po konkurentnim cijenama proizvoditi i plasirati robu na tržište. Iz tih razloga malim poduzetnicima, pojedincima i tvrtkama ne preostaje ništa drugo, nego se pravovremeno prilagoditi promjenama i udružit se u klastere te na taj način, zajedničkim snagama i smanjenim troškovima poslovanja konkurirati na svjetskom tržištu.Klaster je oblik strateškog saveza, odnosno grupa srodnih poduzeća iz jedne grane. Ta grupa uključuje i proizvođače sirovina, vladine i nevladine organizacije, pa čak i obrazovne i znanstvene institucije koje su se udružile radi rješavanja zajedničkih problema. Svi analizirani klasteri imaju za cilj povećanje konkurentnosti vlastitih članova na domaćem i inozemnim tržištima, poticanje inovativnosti i razmjene znanja, informacija i tehnologija među svojim članovima. Kao najveću razliku između analiziranih klastera možemo izdvojiti stupanj specijalizacije, pri čemu klasteri u zemljama Europske Unije imaju veći stupanj specijalizacije, odnosno postoje klasteri koji se isključivo bave proizvodnjom jedne vrste proizvoda, dok se klasteri u RH i zemljama u okruženju bave širom skupinom proizvoda.
