Abstract

Šumske zajednice hrasta kitnjaka i običnog graba zauzimaju najveći dio
brežuljkastog pojasa savsko-dravskog međurječja Republike Hrvatske. U radu su
analizirane dvije šumske zajednice u kojima se kao glavna vrsta drveća pojavljuje
hrast kitnjak. Sinataksonomski, zajednice se nalaze u okviru sveze Erythronio-
Carpinion. Dvije opisane šumske zajednice (Epimedio-Carpinetum betuli i Festuco
drymeiae-Carpinetum betuli) pripadaju ilirskim šumama hrasta kitnjaka i običnog
graba koje su više ili manje neutrofilnog karaktera. Provedenim fitocenološkim
analizama uspoređene su stanišne prilike opisanih zajednica te njihov floristički
sastav. Dat je i slikovno-opisni prikaz 67 biljnih vrsta koje se najčešće pojavljuju na
istraživanom području te je određen njihov sociološki i ekološki karakter i značenje
za pojedinu zajednicu.

Abstract (english)

Forest communities of sessile oak and hornbeam are widespread and take up most
of the area of the hilly belt between rivers Sava and Drava. This paper presents two
sessile oak and hornbeam forest communities: Epimedio-Carpinetum betuli and
Festuco drymeiae-Carpinetum betuli. They belong to iliric forests of sessile oak and
hornbeam and they have more or less neutrofile character. The syntaxonomic
position of these two forest communities is within alliance Erythronio-Carpinion.
Phytocenological analysis is provided and forest conditions of described
communities are compared. The most represented 67 species in explored area are
described with their sociological and ecological characteristics and their importance
for each community.
