Abstract
Prvi put otkrivena u Poljskoj 1990-tih godina, gljiva Hymenoscyphus fraxineus uzročnik je bolesti jasena koja se proširila po cijeloj Europi. Koristeći se dostupnom stranom literaturom i istraživanjima u radu će biti iznesene neke od istraživanih metoda u cilju zaštite poljskog jasena od fitopatogene gljive Hxmenoscyphus fraxineus. Te metode uključuju detekciju spora gljive prije pojave simptoma na stablima jasena te korištenje drugih vrsta gljiva koje imaju antagonistično djelovanje na Hymenoscyphus fraxineus te usporavaju ili ograničavaju njeno širenje i razvoj bolesti.
