Abstract

Svrha je sušenja da transformira prirodno sirovo drvo, s njegovim širokim spektrom različitih kemijskih i strukturnih osobina i obilježja, u kvalitetan i obradiv materijal. Za potrebe ovog istraživanja odabrane su dvije sirovine, drvo recentnog hrasta lužnjaka (Querus robur L.) i drvo abonosa, koje su na početku svog životnog vijeka jako slične, no utjecajem prirode dobivamo dva materijala različitih svojstava. Ovim istraživanjem želi se istražiti utjecaj vakuum-press sušenja u području iznad točke zasićenosti vlakanaca na sadržaj vode i boju drva abonosa i drva recentnog hrasta lužnjaka (Quercus robur L.), a s ciljem dobivanja što kvalitetnijeg i vrjednijeg osušenog drva.

Abstract (english)

The purpose of drying is to transform natural raw wood, with its wide range of different chemical and structural properties and characteristics, into a quality and workable material. For the purposes of this research, two raw materials were selected, recent pedunculated oak (Quercus robur L.) wood and bog-wood, which are very similar at the beginning of their life, but by the influence of nature we get two materials with different properties. This research aims to investigate the impact of vacuum-press drying in the area above the fibre saturation point on the water content and colour of bog-wood and wood of recent pedunculate oak (Quercus robur L.), with the aim of obtaining the highest quality and most valuable dried wood.
