Abstract

U ovom su se istraživanju ispitivala svojstva površine drva
obrađenog različitim vrstama ulja. Ulja su premazi koji zbog
povećanja ekološke svijesti imaju sve veću primjenu u površinskoj
obradi, a ujedno i naglašavaju prirodni izgled drva. U istraživanju
su korišteni uzorci hrastovine, bukovine i trešnjevine. Na
površinski obrađenim uzorcima ispitano je vrijeme sušenja ulja,
žućenje, tvrdoća površine po Brinellu, otpornost prema hladnim
tekućinama i toplini, dubina penetracije ulja i boja uljene površine
drva.

Abstract (english)

Properties of wood surface finished with different types of oil will
be examined in this research. Oils are coatings that due to the
increasing environmental awareness have been increasingly used
in surface treatment, and oils also emphasize the natural look of
wood. The samples of oak wood, beech wood and cherry wood are
used in this study. The drying time of oils, yellowing resistance,
Brinell hardness, resistance to cold liquids and heat, penetration
depth of oils and color were measured on oil-treated wood
samples.
