Abstract

Jelin valjkasti srčikar (Treptoplatypus oxyurus Duf.) je jedan od brojnih štetnika jele. On se ubušuje u dela jele i izgriza hodničke sustave. Ovaj, u Hrvatskoj nedavno otkriveni kornjaš, nije česta pojava u Europskim šumama, a pronađen je svega u nekoliko država. Zbog relativne neistraženosti i nedostatka podataka iz literature, cilj ovog rada je otkriti dosad skrivene i neistražene dijelove njegovog života. U ovom se radu opisuju njegova biologija, razvojni ciklus, ekologija i hodnički sustav.

Abstract (english)

Fir pinhole borer (Treptoplatypus oxyurus Duf.) is one of many pests of fir. He penetrates in the fir trunk and bites his gallery systems This, in Croatia recently discovered beetle, is not a common occurrence in European forests, and has been found in only a few countries. Due to the relative unexploredness and lack of data from the literature, the aim of this paper is to reveal hitherto hidden and unexplored parts of his life. This paper describes his biology, development cycle, ecology and gallery system.
