Abstract

U ovom diplomskom radu istraživao se utjecaj pripreme površine brušenjem na svojstva močene površine drva. Močenje je način promjene boje drva, a konačni efekt ovisi o velikom broju čimbenika. U istraživanju su korištene tri vrste drva, te vodena i otapalna močila s dodatkom bojila i pigmenata. Na uzorcima se mjerila dubina penetracije močila, promjena svjetline, sjaj te brzina upijanja močila. Rezultati su pokazali da su močila potamnila površinu drva, dok je otapalno močilo penetriralo je dublje u drvo u odnosu na vodeno močila. Nadalje, najbrže upijanje i najdublja penetracija močila zabilježena je na lipovini, dok je najmanja penetracija močila zabilježena na hrastovini.

Abstract (english)

In this thesis, the influence of surface preparation by sanding on the properties of the stained wood surfaces was studied. Staining is a way of changing the color of wood, and the final effect depends on a number of factors. Three types of wood species were used in the research, as well as water and solvent-based stains with the addition of dyes and pigments. The depth of stain penetration, lightness change, gloss and stain absorption rate were measured on the samples. The results showed that the stains darkened the wood surface, and the solvent-based stains penetrated deeper into the wood compared to the water-based stains. Furthermore, the fastest absorption and the deepest stain penetration were recorded on linden, while the lowest wetting penetration was recorded on oak.
